Jacqui Robson DDP ODCoC

Hi, I'm Jacqui Robson, trading as Nautilus Photography.  I am a passionate scuba diver and underwater photographer.  I have been diving for over 20 years and taking underwater photographs for over 10 years.  I live in Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands with my partner, dive buddy and reluctant underwater model, Mitch Horn.

Over the last couple of years, I have been on a mission to improve my photography, transitioning from a compact camera to a professional DSLR.  I recently completed a Diploma in Digital Photography with the Southern Institute of Technology and obtained an Occupational Diving Certificate of Competence for film and photographic diving from WorkSafe. 

 

As part of the final paper for my diploma, I created a portfolio of 50 images taken in and around Maunganui Bay on the Cape Brett Peninsula.  My goal was to create a photographic record of the beauty and the benefits of the rahui in Maunganui Bay.
